In the framework of the Agreement between Cinterfor and SENA (Colombia) on 31 October 2023 we organised a videoconference to analyse experiences and good practices with the Public Employment Service -SEPE- of Spain; with the aim of achieving knowledge transfer in classification of occupations, data analytics and methods of occupational guidance.

With the new Employment Law in Spain, where one of its pillars is personalised attention, career guidance is defined as a priority for the Public Employment Services. It is a personalised, comprehensive and inclusive guidance.

What is the guidance model like, how are they advancing it, what types of challenges are identified, what is the digital tool for massive use of data to help find work developed by the SEPE, what does it measure, how does it integrate the inclusive perspective?

These are some of the questions that guided the presentation that Belén Rebollo Moral, Deputy Director General of Active Employment Policies and Federico Muñiz Alonso, Deputy Director General of Statistics and Information, both from the SEPE of Spain, shared during the session.
